About Me

Edgar Scott |  LPC, ATR-BC, CLAT, NCC

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Edgar Scott (they/he). Formally the name that I am licensed under is Amanda Lupfer. Please be patient as this transition is taking place.

At a young age I found that art was a way I could express myself freely and deeply. Art was a way to heal wounds, find connection, and express that which words could not. I continue to be a practicing artist to stay in touch with my inner self and where I come from.

Currently, you can find me at The Village for Families and Children in Hartford, Connecticut. I work with children and adolescents. I conduct art therapy, talk therapy, EMDR, and TFCBT with individuals privately, through family sessions, and in a group setting. I also see a small amount of LGBTQIA2S+ clients through my private practice, Lux Nox Counseling.

As I continue striving to learn the most up-to-date interventions and best practices, I attend trainings, conferences, and continue research in the fields of art therapy and counseling.
